How to keep your PC updated

Very simple if you know how. By using File Hippo’s Update Checker, the tedium of searching for and downloading the latest version of software is banished forever.

You download and save a minute program which you run every so often. It scans your PC for common software, compares version numbers against it’s own list on the ‘net and displays a list of updates you can apply. You even get a list of Beta versions if you want to be really cutting edge.

Download times aside, the initial search and results process takes a matters of minutes to complete. Great piece of kit. Best of all it’s free!
