Write better content by knowing how people read web pages

I know the title sounds a bit obvious and/or confusing, but a recent article from USC Annenberg Online Journalism Review, shows us how understanding people’s online reading habits, by that I mean how they scan or read the page, can help us develop better website content. The research conducted showed how by re-formatting your layout (images and text), you end up with a more legible site - in some cases 34% more!

The moral of the story is less cramped, more visible content is easier to read and could lead to generating more sales.
