Cool is a very subjective word. I think I’m pretty cool, but others may disagree. However somethings I know are cool. Things like the Happy Webbies wallpapers.
These are caricatures of the great and the good in the world of the web. The web geek’s equivalent of normal people’s Heat magazine celebrities if you will. Better yet, there’s a whole section just for the ‘brits. Not sure what it says about us ‘brits when two of the four have swear word in them

Maybe it’s just me, but a children’s book by Microsoft aimed at explaining the in’s and out’s of Windows Home Server sounds slightly absurd. Like I’m going to go out and buy some hardware because my 5-year old says so!

I love it when people take current thinking and re-think it to address other problems. I also look cool gadgets…I’m geeky like that. Enter Art Lebedev Studio with the Optimus Tactus concept and the Optimus Maximus (sound like Transformers to me).

Carsonified employees get an iPhone as their corporate IT geekery, along with a MacBook 23″. Wish I could work there! Nice approach to staff morale Ryan, keep them in with the latest kit and hopefully keep them happy (along with a great working environment, etc, etc). Now I wonder if I can convince my boss to get me one…
