Accessibility lawsuit - a landmark case?

A landmark legal case based on website accessibility could come to fruition in the not too distant future if various stories are correct. Seems like Target in the US is being sued by the National Federation of the Blind (the US equivalent of our Royal National Institute for the Blind).

“Web standards” in email

Most email programs do not support any form of web standards. What this means in real terms is that there’s no guarantee that the pretty email you create with nice pictures and coloured text will look and behave in the way you originally intended.
