You may experience some turbulence whilst we re-route the plasma conduits. In other words, I’m upgrading the blog to 2.2 of Wordpress and there may (will) be problems (hence the lack of navigation on the home page!). Watch this space.

Blog Action Day

Just to show my support of global issues from my local blog, I’ll be supporting Blog Action Day. The intention is to use the combined power of lots of bloggers from around the world to unite under a common banner. This year’s cause is the environment.

Having borne witness to the power of Mother Nature with Tewkesbury’s recent flooding, it brings home how we as humans should show more respect to our planet. So on the the 15th October, I plan to support the campaign with a suitable blog-based response. not sure what yet, but keep you eyes peeled!

The web isn’t dominated by US companies

Having read this recent article from Bowen, Craggs and Co, I’m fascinated and slightly surprised to see that of the top ten corporate organisation, only 2 are from the US, the rest being European, in turn 4 of these UK firms.
